..the festival is coming home. In Berlin's Tempelhof airport bands such as Who Made Who, These New Puritans and Jarvis Cocker will rock the block. The Berlin Festival line-up is a mix of international bands and local DJ heroes such as Shir Khan and Hugo Capablanca. Hope to see you there.

That is what I like Berlin for: Getting a call at five pm with the info that at around eight pm Anti-Pop Consortium will play an exclusive gig at A.D.Deertz store. Going there. Loving it. Afterwards free beers in the streets and dinner in Prater beer garden. Nice.

Dash "Dashiell A." Snow, born 07/27/1981 and known as ”The golden bad boy of the downtown art scene”, died of an heroine overdose on July 13th in his hotel room in Manhattan at age 27. The New York Times reports on Terence Koh's Dash Snow memorial performance. By clicking on the image you see polaroids from Dash's latest series of the sex-and-drug-fuelled bohemians in New York. They remind me a lot of Larry Clark's photo series "Tulsa".

It is Berlin fashion week summer 2010. The fashion scene gets dressed up. On Bebelplatz, the main square in front of the catwalk tent, I "stylechecked" some people who didn't look like try hards. More street style fashion you will see on monday and thursday on Hobnox or from July 25th on in the NRW Forum in Düsseldorf. There will be the exhibition "Catwalks". And did you see that Stylecheck is involving more and more media? We beat the iNterview and film with a HD Camera, a Nseries phone and take photos.
