Adidas has a new playground. In Torstraße 74 Adidas opened a 200 square metres big shop, that will change the interior design and the collection every few months. At March 19, the Y-3 spring/summer collection kicked it off. Until May 3rd, you can check out the clothes and the wooden and floating installations by Dirk Bonn. After that the shop will get it's first make over and show Adidas Originals. Similar to this shop is "No 6", the Adidas store in London. More info on No 74´s homepage.
Cycling through Berlin one can see exiting things. For example spanish artist Anton Unai setting up his show. "Ultimatum" will only last for one night*. Street Artist Nomad will be on the decks while visitors explore 200m² of performative paintings, objects, walldrawings and sculptures. To see more about Anton Unai and his performative art check out the piece I did for Hobnox about the exhibtion "Berliner Straße". And make sure to be there: Thursday, 20th of March, 8pm, Schönhauserallee 8 (next to White Trash).
*Correction: I met Anton and he told me that you can call up CircleCulture Gallery to make an appointment to view hisinstallations. It's still going so call up and check it out.

What is the best thing to do when it is minus one degree and sunny? A summer-sunny-sunglasses shoot. The magazine Style100 asked me to take part in a creative-heads-sunglasses-feature. Photographer Andreas Mühe, editor Nina Trippel and me had a good, but hell freezing time at the Spree this morning. Make sure you check out the Style100 May issue to see what sunglasses I am wearing in the end. I can tell you already that it is not this pair of Cazal 858 - they are mine.

This is the photo that Berlin's party and underground photographer André C Hercher took of Mr. Frank Zappe -ÄH- Zander and me at the lipstick opening yesterday... It was one of the funniest interviews I had to date. After a few drinks this german Schlager star talked to me about how much he likes to lick the lipstick of womens faces and he even came up with a freestyle Rock 'n'Schlager song about lipstick. Frank Zander, you are great! The report will be on Hobnox in May.

You ever got run over by a truck? I didn't - Thank god I never had any serious accident. My friend from London got run over by a truck last monday and survived. In fact all that happened is that his legs look now as if he played Alex Kintner in Jaws. One of the first things he said to me after his operations is that his bike is wrecked. It was a very rare 80's AENDE low profile frame. Apparently a guy called Pongo Braithwaite build this frame in a small garage in Nottingham. A shame that he only build a few of them for test reasons. And if rumours are correct Pongo took of to the Philipines in 1990 and died there soonafter. My friend's golden Aende frame was the bomb. I took this photo some months ago. The bike definately looks better there than it does now. Let's keep his Aende in memory as one of London's fastest and definately most stylish courier bikes.
E get better soon.
Here is a Link to a report on E and his crash on the Courier site "Moving Target".
