Squeeeeque needs your help

Alexis O'Hara, sound artist from Montreal, is seeking your kind contributions in the imminent construction of Squeeeeque, The Speakerbox Igloo, a sound installation that will be presented at Club Transmediale 2010 starting 29th January. Seeking donations of speakerboxes, specifically housed in wooden boxes. Guitar amps and stereo amplifiers would also be great. Vice has Heroes

Sitting in the Berlin Vice office working on a VBS series, I am finding out about other Online TV projects that are currently being produced here. One of them is the Heroes series in which Vice introduces musicians like Simian Mobile Disco and Bonaparte.

Monotonix

Friday Night, White Trash Fast Food, 23h, €6 and the madness beginns. Israels export Monotonix, a mix between Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, will leave the stage to play their gig in the crowd. As far as I know they have ordered 20 metres of mic cable, which will allow them to sing in the street. Almost, I think. Well, worth finding out.

On friday in Wedding's Uferhallen the 30 finalists from Goethe institute's young fashion award "Createurope" presented their collection. Together with Mark Rump (production), Collin Shamrock (editor) and Alex Smetana I made this Mashup.

My audience with Karl Lagerfeld

And here is another report that I made for Hobnox early last year. For this report about the "ADC Gipfel der Kreativität" I got to talk to Karl Lagerfeld. I have never been so nervous during an interview. He is just one of the coolest guys that I ever interviewed, well apart from Aaron Rose maybe.
